Most fences fail at the posts, not the panels. That is why every installation starts with accurate setting out and firmly set posts, dug to a suitable depth for the ground and the height of the fence. Camberley's free-draining sandy soil is easy to dig but gives little grip to a shallow post, so depth and concrete matter.

From there, boards or panels are aligned properly, gravel boards are fitted where needed, and gates are hung square so they still close cleanly in a year's time.

Many Camberley gardens still have the original fencing put up when their estate was built, and a lot of it is now leaning or rotting at ground level. Replacement fencing is often the sensible option once posts are failing along most of the run; where only a section has gone, a fence repair may be better value.
